This lens is designed for use with digital Nikon cameras with a "DX" format image sensor. Whilst it is compatible with cameras of the larger "FX" format range (e.g. D3, D4, D700) it is necessary to use the "DX Crop" or "Auto DX Crop" option or vignetting will occur. This lens is not compatible with film SLRs.
